Our Bed & Breakfast is a 3 minute drive of 30 minute beautiful walk from the pleasant and rustic town of Óbidos. The town is located in the district of Leiria with about 11,000 inhabitants. Óbidos is situated under an hour’s drive north from Lisbon.

The oldest part of the town is surrounded by the old city wall, which is today a very important tourist attraction. The castle, (castelo de Óbidos) was built in the 12th century finds itself within the old town walls surrounded by whitewashed houses finished off with blue, red or yellow stripes. From the castle wall you have a wonderful view of the town, but also from the surrounding district. The town itself holds a number of good shops, bars and restaurants.

Obidos hosts a number of annual events that are popular amongst tourists. A few examples are:
