We are Steve and Ans Ellis, proud owners of Casa Coloridos in Óbidos, Portugal. Steve was born in Wales and Ans in the Netherlands. We have 2 sons. In 1980 we met in a kibbutz in Israel. This turned out to be a very fun and adventurous time, which we look back on with great pleasure.

We love to go out in our camper, taking long-distance walks while enjoying the beautiful scenery. After 38 years of living and working, Steve as an operator and Ans as a nurse in Coevorden (the Netherlands), we decided it was time for a new adventure and challenge in beautiful Portugal. After having been to Portugal a few times for a vacation, meeting the friendly people and experiencing the clearly wonderful climate, we chose this country to settle on a more permanent basis. We hope to welcome many guests of different nationalities in our small Bed & Breakfast.

We will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We find it important that you feel at home and experience the friendliness and cosiness of our accommodation. We look forward to seeing you in Portugal!
